Turkey Dinner Incident

From The Great Outdoor Fight

Jump to: navigation, search

An appalling breach of ettiquette wherein two army leaders killed each other during the Turkey Dinner with their silverware. This happened during the 1970 fight.

This incident lead to the banning of proper silverware, and the use of plastic sporks instead.

Fight purists and trivia buffs claim that this should more accurately be called the second Turkey Dinner Incident. They claim that the first incident took place in 1861, when then-champion Josef Bryant and seven others suffered fatal food poisoning after partaking of their turkey dinners. Most fight followers discount this sort of hair-splitting.
