Tower One was part of the construction program before the Great Outdoor Fight 1919. Despite misgivings regarding the quality of the other works, the tower withstood the test of time for eighty-seven years, even the damage caused by RUFUS flinging his opponents at the old structure. The tower finally came down in 2006, when Son of Rodney drove a commandeered Jeep through its supports. It is not known how many people were in Tower One at the time, or their condition afterward.

From this imposing structure, the organizers of the Fight watch all proceedings dispassionately. No information is passed out of Tower One for fear of implying a preference for one fighter or another, which resulted in the longstanding unofficial rule that no one not present at the Acres was to be told the events of the Fight until its conclusion. This tradition carried on for a variety of reasons until 1964, amidst arguments that if the Schweitz triplets had been better informed about the nature of the Fight, they would have known not to tempt the Jeeps.

The only time that an observer from the tower has interacted with fighters still on the field is in the 2006 fight. It is unknown how many observers there are, as the organizers of the Fight prefer to keep themselves in the background and let the Fight speak for itself.
