Son of Rodney, commonly referred to as So-Rod, was one half of the first ever co-champion pair of the 2006 Great Outdoor Fight.

Even before the gates opened word began to spread that the rookie fighter was Blood of Champion, apparently the son of Rodney Leonard Stubbs, regarded as one of the greatest champions in the history of the Fight. Showing a rare blend of strategic and combat prowess, So-Rod's fame, as well as the size of his army, quickly grew. From his Day One takedowns of Ron Sipes, Sound and Motion, and fighter-musician Cody Travis, to his Day Two destruction of the rest of Travis' crew, he remained the biggest presence throughout the fight. Son of Rodney always had with him his right-hand man and top advisor, a mysterious figure known only as Best Mate. Somewhat remarkably, given his lineage, Son of Rodney was never actually confirmed to have taken a man's life.
