Roland Ehret

From The Great Outdoor Fight

Jump to: navigation, search

Roland Ehret (b. 1882, d. 1943) is well-known for two things: his lack of stature (as he was the smallest competitor ever in the Great Outdoor Fight until the appearance of Ishihiro Yagi in 1975) and his dreaded Jibblies Punch, wherein he would take advantage of his opponent's greater height by punching him right in his genitals, which he called the "jibblies". Roland would often follow this move by kicking his opponent in the face when they doubled over in pain. For some unknown reason, Mr. Ehret called this the Texas Two-Step.

Mr. Ehret took pride in his lack of height and often referred to himself as the "Tiny Terror". Other Champions preferred to refer to him in private with the derogatory "Mr. Balls", but never to his face as he inevitably responded to such an insult with the Jibblies Punch.

Mr. Ehret died in 1943 while riding a streetcar when he was sat on by another, unusually large patron, who didn't notice him sitting there. The cause of death was suffocation.
