Roast Beef
From The Great Outdoor Fight
[edit] Note! This entry involves current events and may not be accurate.
This fighter is an enigma. No records exist prior to his appearance at the 2006 Fight. No one remembers seeing him competing in any of the preliminary bouts. How his name got on the list of fighters is a mystery.
Equally mysterious is his behavior during the fight. He does not seem to have been credited with taking out any opponents. He was reported as eliminated sometime during Day 2, but no one remembers fighting him at all. Indeed, this report must have been inaccurate, since he turned up again just before the bizarre events at the end of the fight on Day 3.
If it weren't for the current situation, it's highly likely that his involvement would be investigated at the highest levels of the Ruling Body. As it is, the mysterious organizers of the Great Outdoor Fight quite likely have other problems to deal with first. It is speculated by many in online Fight circles that Roast Beef will be offered a place on the Ruling Body.
This individual also had close ties to Son of Rodney through the course of the fight. According to some who followed So-Rod, Roast Beef (referred to as Best Mate) was a master strategist. It's evident that strategies were employed that were reminiscent of not only THE Rodney Leonard Stubbs, but many other highly vaunted champions. This could only lead one to believe that this Roast Beef is a most knowledgable scholar of the Fight.
