Lamon Falwell
From The Great Outdoor Fight
Primarily known for being the first man caught trying to smuggle a firearm onto the Acres. The early organizers broke both his legs and disqualified him as punishment.
There is some debate as to what model or make of firearm Falwell was attempting to smuggle. It has been assumed by some sources that it was a derringer or a concealable revolver of some kind. In 1999, historian Richard Suliman uncovered evidence that Falwell may have attempted to bring a full P1853 Enfield rifle onto the field by placing the weapon in his pants leg. Suliman's source also indicated that Falwell was discovered when he stabbed himself in the foot with the rifle's bayonet.
