Johnathon Haynes
From The Great Outdoor Fight
1954 Champion. "Gentleman" Johnathon Haynes was the second man to win the Fight and also win an Olympic gold medal. He won the gold medal in Pairs Figure Skating (with Ilsa Portman) in the 1952 Winter Olympics in Oslo, Norway.,
Haynes suffered a moderate amount of ribbing for his figure skating past in this, his first year of the fight. By the end of day three, having killed seven men and injured thirteen more, Haynes had little trouble convincing everyone he had earned his title as Last Man Standing. Over the next several years, he acted as an Officiant and goodwill ambassador for the Fight. He died in 1979 after being savaged by a rabid ferret.

Haynes's son, Rondell Haynes, fought in the 1972 Fight as Blood of Champion. He was eliminated Day 2, 933rd left standing.
