Great Outdoor Fight 1992
From The Great Outdoor Fight
The 1992 Fight is known primarily for the actions of Mikhail Gouzenko, the "Red Terror". Recently released from a Russian asylum due to post-Soviet administrative chaos, Gouzenko cut a swath through the 1992 Fight. By the end of the first day, Gouzenko had nearly a quarter of The Acres to himself due to his cannibalism, often devouring an opponent's leg right in front of him. On the second day, Gouzenko attacked the feast and was able to kill 109 men and injure 114 more before he was eliminated by a turkey wishbone shoved through his eyes by eventual Fight winner Gregorio Poorbaugh. Survivors claimed that Gouzenko's fury was nearly at the level of Fauntleroy Brown's infamous 1984 Dutch fugue, made even more disturbing by his cannibalism.
