Carlo Rodenkin
From The Great Outdoor Fight
Carlo Rodenkin was a respectable surgeon, before the Great Outdoor Fight changed his life forever. After entering the 1972 Fight in a drunken dare, he stood 345th last standing. His opponent, Rupert von Frinken, took a disliking to him, and after knocking him out, stepped on his fingers. His career ruined, Carlo threw himself into the fight, determined to win. This all changed at the fight of '73, where he saw his leader, Daniel "The Kid" Boleskwi slain by Rodney Leonard Stubbs. He then vowed to kill Stubbs, no matter what the cost. This tenacity may have saved his life, but in reality, no one but Rodney knows why Carlo was not only felled last, but why his life and health was spared. In fact, Carlo was the only person Stubbs laid a hand on who was able to walk less than two months after the fight. Realizing he had been given this chance to make a real difference in the world, Carlo founded the Rodney Leonard Stubbs Fight Rehabilitation Center with funds from familiy members affected by the fight.
In 1996, After undergoing the same rehabilitation techniques he himself had pioneered, Carlo was once again able to perform surgery.
