Berserker Festival

From The Great Outdoor Fight

Jump to: navigation, search

A very bloody, and therefore very popular, move in which a group of five or more contestants descend upon a single opponent (one observer described it as "remind[ing] me of the time I saw a jaguar fall into the Amazon river. It fought against the pirhana as best it could, yet still was overwhelmed.") Popularized by champion Oren Turzanski, who would bludgeon his targets into a daze, then allow his army to finish them off.

The last seven men standing in the 1914 Great Outdor Fight were Turzanski and his followers. As Turzanski was congratulating his men for having made it so far, one of them attacked their leader. The resulting Berserker Festival left the traitor unrecognizable, and continued until only Turzanski was left alive.
