Ben Turner
From The Great Outdoor Fight
"The Man With The Faraway Look." 1974 Champion. Ben Turner fought in five Great Outdoor Fights, from 1969 to 1975. He was notable back in 1969 for eliminating 1965 Champion Marquis Grant, who admittedly was not at his top form.
Ben Turner was quite well known for his strange musical tastes, and after the GOF, went on to become a disc Jockey for a top New York radio station. His current whereabouts are unknown.
