"Giddy" Lawrence Giles

From The Great Outdoor Fight

Jump to: navigation, search

Lawrence Giles was a simple man with simple tastes. Specifically, he liked the taste of laughing gas. Born in 1978, he was a little late to join the 'hippie' movement, and would've been kicked out if he had, but he enjoyed smoking, snorting, inhaling and injecting anything that would give him a brief high nonetheless. Raised in the mean streets of Miami, Lawrence grew to be an excellent fighter due to young induction into a gang. He drifted from gang to gang, mastering a unique style of fighting that utilized his nearly permanent high. He entered the Great Outdoor Fight five times in the nineties, each time finishing early on day three. He was never an army leader, having none of the charisma needed, but he was a fan favorite due to his unique style. His most famous takedown was known as the Laughing Lariat, which, with his trademark strung-out grin on his face, Giles performed upon foes Ken Sponge, "Jerkface" Malcolm Gerkin and Smithers "Snitty" Storkson, none of whom survived. He ripped Sponge's spine out, and used it to strangle Gerkin and Storkson.

He was finally felled by Marc Burkett, who hammered his own foot into his lung. He lived on for several months after, using up quite a lot of the Rodney Leonard Stubbs Fight Rehabilitation Center's morphine.
